Neither Predator nor Prey

I'm considering picking this up. Anyone read it?

Neither Predator Nor Prey

In a time of great economic downturn, the US Senate, in thrall to an evil leftist president, ratifies the UN Global Gun Ban Treaty. Congress passes implementing legislation and an aggressive enforcement effort is launched.

There are those in Wyoming who decide not to comply with the new laws. The old ways suit them just fine, and they are willing to take whatever measures are necessary to preserve their traditional lifestyle. They have no intention of letting themselves become prey to the predatory treaty enforcers. This is their story.

Sounds interesting, but that pic of what I think is suppose to be the cover of the book is so damn cheesy I don't think I can pull the trigger on buying this one.

If you haven't already read these books, you won't be disappointed.

Western Rifle Shooters is a daily check for me. Great site! Mike Vanderboegh also has a good book that he is working on called Absolved.

Must be self-published. No serious publisher would put out that kind of artwork. Self-published books are generally sub-par, but there have been notable exceptions such as the recent "Shack".

Halffast who wrote Lights out also has another book posted on ARFCOM in the outdoor/survival section called "Lost and Found". It is not finished yet but there are several hundred pages that make for some good reading. Lights Out is still my favorite though.

Also, if you haven't checked out the "Enemies" series, soon to be a trilogy by Mathew Bracken, and any of the Boston T Party books like "Molon Labe", you won't be dissapointed either.
